Triggers

Triggers are user-defined locations that the user shares with his or her coach or counselor. Clients can create an unlimited number of triggers. The most successful clients add an abundance of triggers in order to ensure self-accountability in maintaining their sobriety. Triggers can be either positive or negative locations.

Adding a New Location

  1. Navigate to the Triggers tab.

  2. Zoom in on the specific area, building, or location by pinching your fingers on the screen. You can also type in an address at the top of the screen.

  3. Tap the specific spot. A blue pin will appear.

    1. If you were a little off on the first tap, just tap again on the correct spot to create a new pin.

  4. Press Add Trigger.

  5. Select if this is a Person or Place.

  6. Select if this is a Positive Place.

  7. Select the Location Type.

  8. Press Next.

  9. Confirm the trigger address by pressing Add the Trigger Now.
