Adding Staff Signature Permissions to a Clinical Center

Pre-requisites for

  • The center is setup as a clinical center.

  • The staff member has clinical permissions. The staff member doesn't need to have ALL the permissions, but they at least need access to the dashboard & the notes tab.

Instructions to add Clinical Signature Options

  • Navigate to Admin > Staff > [Staff member's name].

  • Navigate to the 4th tab labeled "Provider".

  • Add the center to which the staff member should show up as a clinician/therapist.

  • Indicate if the staff member is a supervisor (the default is No).

  • Indicate if the staff member requires claims to be submitted under a supervisor.

  • Click the "Submit" button in the top right.

Things to Remember

  • Staff members can have unique permissions depending on the center. This is to accommodate organizations which operate in multiple different states and the staff member requires specific licensure based on the state laws and regulations.

  • It's not required to add Provider permissions to a staff member. An example of a user for which you may NOT wish to add provider permissions is a billing officer or auditor. In such case, the staff member can be granted access to the clinical platform WITHOUT appearing as a provider in the staff dropdown.
