Chat

Clients, counselors, peers, and guides can all chat with each using the built-in encrypted messaging application.

Chatting is only available in the mobile application, but messages sent between the counselor and client can be viewed from the client dashboard.

Instructions

  • Navigate to the Chat section.

  • Start a new chat by clicking the plus icon in the top right.

  • On the next screen select either a Friend, a Nearby Sober Peer, or choose someone from your Contacts list on your device.

  • Contacts that you have not yet connected with using the app will need to first accept your invitation to chat.

  • Once a contact has accepted your invitation, the user will show up in the Recent header within the Chat section.
