Chat

Clients, counselors, peers, and guides can all chat with each using the built-in encrypted messaging application.

Chatting is only available in the mobile application, but messages sent between the counselor and client can be viewed from the client dashboard.

Navigate to the Chat section.
Start a new chat by clicking the plus icon in the top right.
On the next screen select either a Friend, a Nearby Sober Peer, or choose someone from your Contacts list on your device.
Contacts that you have not yet connected with using the app will need to first accept your invitation to chat.
Once a contact has accepted your invitation, the user will show up in the Recent header within the Chat section.
