Toubleshooting Kiosk Issues

Clients are not appearing on the client list page.

Check to make sure the kiosk is connected to the Internet. Check to make sure that the clients are in the enrolled status.

The kiosk cannot connect to the Internet.

If this happens, chances are that the Internet password has been changed and the kiosk needs to have the wifi password updated. Navigate to the Settings > Wifi menu of the kiosk to update the wifi password.

Surveys show up without the question present.

In rare circumstances, the survey text changes to white on a white background. If this happens, chances are the kiosk is in dark mode. Navigate to the settings and search for dark mode to revert the ipad back to light mode. There is a known apple bug that even if the ipad says it is in light mode, it is actually in dark mode. You can overide this bug by manually switching the ipad to and from light/dark mode one time. Check out Apple's guide for further assistance.

The kiosk immediately logs out the signed in user after completing a survey

Check to make sure the kiosk user is logged in using a username ending in @soberpeer.com. If that is the case, try restarting the kiosk or check to make sure that the internet is accessible at the location the kiosk is physically located.

A spinning wheel icon occurs when signing in and does not resolve.

Chances are the username/password combination is incorrect. Try signing in on a computer to confirm the account credentials are correct. If you need to update the credentials, please reach out via the support email or chat window to do so.
